Joshua Aaron Blanchard
I am husband, father, and teacher.
I hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Aberdeen.
In 2017, I received the first BS in philosophy from Columbia International University. In 2021 I earned an MA in philosophy from Biola university
.
I currently teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Biblical Studies at Columbia International Univeristy and serve as a Theological Advisor to St George's House, Windsor, an independent educational foundation of Windsor Castle in Windsor, England. It functions primarily as a convening space for high-level discussions on ethical, social, political, and religious issues. There I teach moral, systematic, and historical Theology.

My research focuses on Ethics, Patristic Theology, and Augustinian moral self-knwoeldge. I teach ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of religion, and the history of Western thought. Particularly, I am interested in how metaethical accounts of personhood inform approaches to ethics and politics.
I am the host of The Augustine Podcast, which hosts scholarly conversations with leading experts on Augustine's life and writings.

Most importantly, I am husband to my wife Sydney. We married in 2018 and have three children: Sonya, Augustine, and Isla
